Captain Paulie Marchan III, a 5th generation “Conch” (Key West native), brings a lifetime of experience and passion to 3rd Degree Charters. With deep roots in the Florida Keys, he’s dedicated to providing unforgettable fishing and scenic tours while prioritizing responsible practices and environmental preservation.

Beyond his fishing expertise, Captain Paulie is also a retired Department of Defense Fire Chief, certified in CPR and basic life support. Your safety and well-being are his top priorities, ensuring a worry-free adventure on the water.

We run a 28’ SeaVee center console fishing boat with brand new twin 150 Mercury’s. We have GPS and depth finder capabilities. VHF radio communication. Our stereo is blue tooth so you can play your own style of music if you like. We have cushioned combing bolsters, seating, and SeaDek flooring for your comfort. We have a large T-top which provides a limited amount of shade. We also have a large, insulated fish box with a separate area for drinks and food.
